JOB PURPOSE:

The individual will have the responsibility for developing high quality computer programs, operating instructions, programme revisions and documentation to specification in accordance with established programming standards.  The incumbent will also have responsibility for maintaining the programming environment in accordance with established guidelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from a recognized tertiary institution.

 Desired Competencies:

The candidates possessing the following competencies will have a distinct advantage:

• Good communication skills – verbal and written.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Highly motivated.

The salary is J$3.50 million per annum plus any current allowance attached to this position.
