On November 4, 2022 eGov Jamaica Limited (eGovJa) obtained the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001:2013 Standard certification for our Information Security Management System (ISMS). The audit was done by NSF International Strategic Registrations (NSF-ISR). This achievement represents a significant milestone for eGovJa. It is an indication that security is a high priority of ours, and that the organization is aligned with international security best practices. This is another step towards assuring our clients that we take cyber security seriously. The scope of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) covers all information systems and services operated and provided by eGovJa at and from the primary site at its headquarters in Kingston, as well as the disaster contingency site located in St. Catherine. The ISMS also includes the operation of all network communications to support the Wide Area Network links up to the external modem/router at all client’s sites for all services within the scope of the ISMS.
