The Automated Motor Vehicle System (AMVS) was designed to:

• Capture data on motor vehicles and their owners
• Facilitate the production of motor vehicle titles
• Provide motor vehicle related information as needed
• Facilitate easy identification and location of a vehicle by owner’s name, TRN, chassis number, or licence plate
• Enable AMVS users to link licence plates to owner
• Allow the recording of lien and other conditions of ownership associated with the vehicle.
