The organization decided to implement the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 9001:2015 Standard that establishes a benchmark for creating quality management systems worldwide. One of the main services provided by the organisation is software engineering, thus particular focus is being given to implement a Software Engineering Quality Management System (SEQMS).
We are committed to delivering the highest level of service to you, and as a service provider, implementation of this Standard will improve the quality of and satisfaction with the service provided.
The implementation of the SEQMS demonstrates our commitment to improving our service delivery and we now share our Quality Policy & Objectives below:
Quality Policy Statement
eGov Jamaica Limited is committed to consistently providing products and services that meet or exceed the requirements and expectations of our customers, and comply with legislative requirements and industry standards. We achieve this by continually improving our processes and maintaining a cadre of highly skilled, engaged personnel.
The Software Engineering Quality Objectives are:
- To attain a mature software delivery process by Q4 2023-2024 that improves the Software Delivery Efficiency (SDE) by at least 50% over the baseline established in April 2022.
- To consistently deliver application software to customers that meet their requirements with at least 70% customer satisfaction rating by the end of the 2023-2024 fiscal year.
The organisation seeks to complete implementation of the SEQMS during the fiscal year 2023 – 2024, and will join other GOJ Ministries, Department and Agencies (MDA) in being ISO 9001:2015 certified.
